A young male tiger emerges out of the shadows cast by the first rays of the morning sun. Males cover a large areas and are always on the move early mornings and late evenings. An average male can cover anywhere between 10 and 40 square kilometers.
Just as the sun came up, breaking through the trees and the mist, casting sublime shadows on the safari tracks; an enigma appeared on the road. His face flushed with determination, he walked straight toward the safari vehicle. Meticulously marking his territory along the way by spraying on the trees.
For upwards of an hour, I took turns repositioning myself, taking photographs and just being astonished by what is walking directly toward me.
