Suyash Keshari, Creating Connective Safari Experiences
Meet Suyash Keshari
An International Wildlife TV Presenter, Conservationist, Filmmaker, 30 under 30 Awardee, and Founder of Ameliya Safaris. Although he wears many hats, all of his work in the past decade has been dedicated to fostering a deeper connection between people and nature. More on this later...
Suyash is best known for his work as the creator and host of India’s first virtual safari experience. This innovative series combines breathtaking visuals, engaging storytelling, and expert knowledge to bring the magic of India’s wildlife directly into homes worldwide. Beyond this, he uses his social media platform and public speaking engagements to educate individuals, particularly the youth, to take an active role in environmental stewardship.
Now, with Ameliya Safaris, Suyash has introduced a unique business model that blends conservation and positive impact with high-end and luxury wildlife safaris. A model that relies on powerful experiences and storytelling to evoke passion in hearts and minds across the world, urging them to play their part in conserving our natural heritage.

Accolades & Partnerships
Conservation
In recent decades, many of the Earth’s vast wild spaces have shrunk to small pockets, putting significant pressure on wildlife and critical species like tigers and rhinos. Conserving these species is vital, as their survival is intricately linked to our own well-being.
Suyash aims to protect, develop, and restore these habitats through Ameliya’s conservation projects.
Habitat Redevelopment
Building waterholes for wildlife in water-scarce areas. We are proud of our two waterholes built in the periphery of Bandhavgarh National Park in Central India, which are home to two tiger families, in the home range of 4 leopards, three sloth bears and also thousands of herbivores and birds.
Anti Poaching
So far, Ameliya Safaris has electrified 175 Anti-Poaching camps with solar lamps, allowing rangers who up until then had no source of light during darkness, to work more effectively. We have also equipped rangers with 200 raincoats, 250 pairs of shoes, 200 bags, and 225 solar powered torches – all of which allows them to conduct their anti-poaching activities in a more effective manner.
Education
We believe that education is the backbone of wildlife conservation. Our efforts are focused towards communities that live in close proximity to wild animals and children who will be the torch-bearers of the future. We facilitate these efforts through timely donations to educational programs of organizations such as The Last Wilderness Foundation and World Wildlife Fund’s.
Suyash's story
It all started a few decades ago in the backyard of a quaint Central Indian household, where he inherited his grandfather’s affection for animals. This affection, coupled with curiosity towards wildlife was what led him on countless trails, treks, and safaris. One of these trips resulted in a chance encounter with Solo- the tigress who taught him more about life than any book or person ever could. Her story ignited a passion in him to conserve the world’s wild spaces. However, as he grew older, he chose to listen to the world around him- telling him to pursue a career outside of wildlife, ignoring the voice inside.
Until the day he decided to turn it around. That’s the day Ameliya Safaris was born.

2019
When Suyash took the call to trade his job for a career in wildlife, he had no idea it would one day turn into a business aimed at protecting, exploring, and expanding the world’s wilderness. He had just set out to influence people across the globe about the beauty and importance of wild spaces, which he did, through his impactful series about India’s big cats that WWF International later undertook- calling it ‘Safari With Suyash’. That could have been the end of it, but then came the requests…

2021-2023
Thus began the phase where Safari with Suyash saw steady, multi-faceted growth- on one end we hosted hundreds of guests on luxury privately guided experiences, including celebrities, sports personalities, and political figures. On the other end, we were building waterholes and restoring wild habitats, conducting educational drives, and coming up with a conservation apparel line - an initiative that allowed more people to contribute to our conservation efforts. During this time, Suyash also received India’s 30 under 30 Award, was named one of the Top 5 Wildlife Professionals in India, and was covered in over 350 magazines, newspapers, and channels.
The Timeline
-
2020
Everyone wanted to experience what a safari with this young wildlife expert would entail, Safari with Suyash became a rapidly growing business that started giving back to conservation right off the bat. Our first project focused on how to battle the primary threat to wildlife - Poaching. We equipped Bandhavgarh’s anti-poaching camps and guards with the right tools and amenities to protect themselves and the wild species that called these jungles home.

2024
But he had a bigger vision - beyond simply hosting guests on safaris himself. A vision with a wider reach and appeal, bringing more professionals into the fold, creating opportunities for positive impact, and continuing to provide life-changing luxury safari experiences at a greater scale. Thus, Safari with Suyash transformed into Ameliya Safaris - an initiative launched as a collective surpassing the individual.
